Enlarge your heart, donate to the poor – दिल बड़ा करें, गरीबों को दान करें!
In our homes, we have so many things which we have not used for months and years, like books, toys, clothes, etc. which can be donated to the poor. But, how many of us do that?
We would like to encourage you to do that, because you know how amazing it feels. Remember that moment when you gave something to someone without expecting anything in return.
Didn’t it feel great?
Yes, it did!
In ancient India, the act of donating (daan) was given a lot of significance because it’s an act of purification. It purifies your mind, body and soul.
We are human beings, we feel amazed when we help someone or give something to someone in need. You can definitely identify the people in need and can help them and create a better, stronger and more compassionate India, full of wonderful people.
You can donate books, toys, clothes, food or anything which you think might help someone someway. You can even donate to NGOs who are working on causes which are closer to your hearts.
Next time you see something which can be donated, just do it. It will bring a smile on someone’s face.
And that smiling face is priceless!
